The Berlin Ensemble Choir is a renowned classical music group that has been captivating audiences with their exceptional performances for over 70 years. The choir was founded in 1949 by Bertolt Brecht and his wife, Helene Weigel, in East Berlin, Germany. The ensemble was initially created to perform the works of Brecht, but it quickly expanded its repertoire to include a wide range of classical music. In 1954, the ensemble made its first international tour, performing in Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary.
