Role:EnsembleOslo Camerata is a classical music ensemble based in Oslo, Norway. The ensemble was founded in 1996 by violinist and artistic director Stephan Barratt-Due, with the aim of creating a flexible and dynamic chamber orchestra that could perform a wide range of repertoire. The ensemble's core members are drawn from some of Norway's leading orchestras, including the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Norwegian National Opera Orchestra. The ensemble also collaborates with guest soloists and conductors from around the world. Oslo Camerata has performed extensively throughout Norway and internationally, including tours to Europe, Asia, and the United States. The ensemble has also appeared at major festivals such as the Bergen International Festival and the Oslo Chamber Music Festival.
