Augustinas grew up in a family of musicians, and his father was a well-known composer and conductor. From a young age, Augustinas showed a keen interest in music, and he began studying piano and composition at the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Art in Vilnius. After completing his studies at the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Art, Augustinas went on to study composition at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius.
