He began taking lessons from his father and other renowned guitarists in the region. He also studied music theory and composition, which helped him develop a deep understanding of the art form. In 1990, Francisco moved to Madrid to study at the Royal Conservatory of Music. He studied under some of the most renowned guitarists in the world, including Narciso Yepes and Jose Tomas. He quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented guitarists in the country and was invited to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in the world. In 1998, Francisco released his first album, "Recuerdos de la Alhambra," which featured his own arrangements of traditional Spanish music.
