Igor Uriash was born on May 15, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Igor was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Igor's talent was quickly recognized, and he began performing in public at the age of six. He won his first competition at the age of eight and went on to win numerous awards throughout his childhood and teenage years. In 2003, Igor was accepted into the Moscow Conservatory, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. He studied under some of the most renowned pianists in Russia and quickly established himself as a rising star in the classical music world. After graduating from the Moscow Conservatory with honors, Igor began performing in concerts and recitals throughout Russia and Europe. He quickly gained a reputation as a virtuoso pianist, with his performances being praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. In 2010, Igor was invited to perform at the International Tchaikovsky Competition, one of the most prestigious music competitions in the world. He wowed the judges and audience with his performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 and was awarded the top prize. Following his success at the Tchaikovsky Competition, Igor's career took off. He began performing in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He also began recording albums, with his debut album, featuring works by Chopin and Liszt, receiving critical acclaim. In 2015, Igor was awarded the Order of Friendship by the Russian government for his contributions to the arts. He was also named a UNESCO Artist for Peace, in recognition of his efforts to promote classical music and cultural exchange. Throughout his career, Igor has remained committed to promoting classical music to a wider audience. He has worked with numerous charities and organizations to bring music education to underprivileged children and has performed in concerts to raise funds for various causes.
