In 1998, Kaiser won the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, which is considered one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. His performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30, was widely acclaimed, and he received a standing ovation from the audience. The competition brought him international recognition and opened up new opportunities for him. Following his success at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, Kaiser embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. He has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Sydney Opera House. He has also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors and orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
