Ingrid Wandelt was born on May 12, 1985, in Berlin, Germany. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Wandelt showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Wandelt's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking lessons with renowned violinists in Germany and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional skills. At the age of 12, Wandelt won first prize in the prestigious Jugend musiziert competition, which is one of the most important music competitions for young musicians in Germany. After completing her studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, Wandelt began performing professionally as a soloist and chamber musician.
