Over the next few years, Batisse continued to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. He also continued to record his music, releasing several albums that showcased his virtuosity on the piano. In 1990, Batisse was awarded the Legion of Honor, one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a French citizen. The award was a testament to Batisse's dedication to his craft and his contributions to the world of classical music.
