Alberto Paoletti was born on May 12, 1985, in Florence, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Paoletti showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. He later went on to study at the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence, where he received his diploma in piano performance. Paoletti's talent as a pianist was evident from an early age, and he quickly gained recognition for his exceptional skills. He won his first competition at the age of six and went on to win numerous other competitions throughout his childhood and teenage years. In 2003, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Città di Marsala" in Italy, which marked a significant milestone in his career. After completing his studies at the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini, Paoletti continued his education at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, Italy. There, he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher Franco Scala, who had a profound influence on Paoletti's musical development. Under Scala's tutelage, Paoletti honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the nuances of classical music. Paoletti's career as a professional pianist began in earnest in 2007, when he made his debut at the Teatro Verdi in Florence. He performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Orchestra della Toscana, which was met with critical acclaim. This performance marked the beginning of a successful career as a concert pianist, and Paoletti quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young pianists of his generation. Over the years, Paoletti has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. He has collaborated with many renowned conductors and orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. One of the highlights of Paoletti's career was his performance at the 2010 International Piano Festival in La Roque d'Anthéron, France. He performed a program of works by Chopin, Liszt, and Schumann, which was met with a standing ovation from the audience. This performance cemented Paoletti's reputation as one of the most talented and exciting young pianists of his generation. In addition to his career as a concert pianist, Paoletti is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught masterclasses at many prestigious institutions, including the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Juilliard School in New York. In 2012, he was awarded the Premio Galileo 2000, which recognizes outstanding achievements in the fields of science, art, and culture. He has also been awarded the Premio Abbiati, the highest honor in Italian classical music, and the Premio Franco Abbiati, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the world of classical music.
