His father was a renowned cellist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Keith was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Keith's parents recognized his talent and enrolled him in the Royal Academy of Music in London when he was just eight years old. He studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world, including Maria João Pires and Martha Argerich. Keith's talent and dedication to his craft were evident from a young age, and he quickly became one of the most promising young pianists in the world. In 1992, Keith won the prestigious International Piano Competition in Leeds, England. This was a major turning point in his career, as it brought him international recognition and opened up many doors for him. He went on to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Keith's performances were always highly acclaimed, and he quickly became known for his technical skill and emotional depth. He was particularly renowned for his interpretations of the works of Chopin, Beethoven, and Mozart. His performances were always characterized by a deep understanding of the music and a profound emotional connection to the pieces he played. Over the course of his career, Keith received many awards and accolades. In addition to his win at the International Piano Competition in Leeds, he was also awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant in 1995.
