The Texas Tenors are a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2009 in Houston, Texas. The group consists of three main members: Marcus Collins, JC Fisher, and John Hagen. The trio met while performing in a production of the musical "Les Miserables" and decided to form a group that combined their love of classical music with their passion for country and pop music. The Texas Tenors quickly gained a following with their unique blend of classical and contemporary music. They released their debut album, "Country Roots: Classical Sound," in 2009, which featured covers of classic country songs like "Deep in the Heart of Texas" and "God Bless the USA" as well as classical pieces like "Nessun Dorma" and "La Donna e Mobile." The group's popularity continued to grow, and they were invited to perform on the fourth season of the hit television show "America's Got Talent" in 2009. The Texas Tenors wowed the judges and audience with their rendition of "Nessun Dorma" and advanced to the next round. They continued to impress with their performances of "Unchained Melody" and "God Bless the USA," and ultimately finished in fourth place. Following their success on "America's Got Talent," The Texas Tenors embarked on a national tour and released their second album, "You Should Dream," in 2010. The album featured original songs as well as covers of popular songs like "My Way" and "The Prayer." The group's success continued to grow, and they were invited to perform at the White House for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in 2011. They also performed at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the National Memorial Day Concert in Washington, D.C. In 2013, The Texas Tenors released their third album, "You Should Dream: Live," which was recorded during a performance at the Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston, Texas. The album featured live versions of songs from their previous albums as well as new material. The group's success continued to soar, and they were invited to perform at the 2014 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. They also performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. In 2015, The Texas Tenors released their fourth album, "Rise," which featured original songs as well as covers of popular songs like "Desperado" and "Unchained Melody."
