Aura Twarowska is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Warsaw, Poland, Aura showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, who were both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Aura's musical education began at the Frederic Chopin Music School in Warsaw, where she studied piano and music theory. She later attended the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. During her studies, Aura participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the 1st Prize at the International Piano Competition in Krakow in 2005. After completing her studies, Aura moved to Germany to further her musical education. She enrolled at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Prof. Pierre-Laurent Aimard. Aura's time in Germany was a turning point in her career, as she was exposed to a wider range of musical styles and techniques. Aura's talent and hard work paid off when she won the 1st Prize at the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Bonn in 2010. This was a major achievement for Aura, as the competition is one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. Her performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 32 in C minor, Op. 111, was praised by the judges for its technical brilliance and emotional depth. Aura's success at the Beethoven Piano Competition opened up new opportunities for her. She was invited to perform at major concert halls around the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. Aura's performances were highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, who praised her for her virtuosity, musicality, and sensitivity. In addition to her solo performances, Aura has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. Despite her success, Aura remains humble and dedicated to her craft. She continues to practice for several hours a day and is constantly seeking new ways to improve her playing. She also devotes time to teaching, and has given masterclasses at music schools and universities around the world. In recognition of her achievements, Aura has received numerous awards and honors. In 2014, she was awarded the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award, which recognizes exceptional pianists who have the potential to make a significant impact in the world of music. She was also named a Steinway Artist, joining a select group of pianists who are recognized for their excellence in performance and dedication to the piano.
