Born on May 22, 1985, in Vilnius, Lithuania, Jolanta showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents, who were both music teachers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Jolanta's musical education began at the National M.K. Ciurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius, where she studied with renowned pianist and pedagogue Rasa Biveiniene. She later continued her studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance under the guidance of Professor Rokas Zubovas. During her studies, Jolanta participated in numerous national and international piano competitions, winning several prizes and awards. In 2004, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Vilnius, and in 2006, she was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Kaunas. Her success in these competitions helped to launch her career as a concert pianist. Jolanta's talent and dedication to her craft have led to numerous opportunities to perform in prestigious concert halls around the world. She has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, the Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra, and the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra. She has also given recitals in major cities such as Paris, London, Berlin, Moscow, and New York. One of the highlights of Jolanta's career was her performance at the 2010 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. This competition is considered one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world, and Jolanta's performance was highly praised by the judges and the audience. Although she did not win the competition, her performance helped to establish her as one of the leading pianists of her generation. In addition to her performances as a soloist, Jolanta is also an active chamber musician. She has collaborated with many renowned musicians, including violinist Gidon Kremer, cellist David Geringas, and clarinetist Michel Lethiec. She is a member of the Vilnius Piano Trio, which has performed extensively throughout Europe and Asia. Jolanta's musical interpretations are characterized by their sensitivity, depth, and technical brilliance.
