Fabrice Marandola is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in Montreal, Canada, on May 22, 1965, Marandola showed an early interest in music and began playing the drums at the age of six. He was raised in a family of musicians, and his father was a professional drummer who played in various jazz bands. Marandola's passion for music continued to grow, and he pursued his studies in music at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. He studied percussion with Julien Grégoire and later with Pierre Béluse. He also studied composition with Michel Longtin and Michel Gonneville. During his studies, Marandola won several awards, including the Prix d'Europe in 1990, which allowed him to study in Europe for two years. After completing his studies, Marandola began his career as a percussionist and composer. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent and was invited to perform with various orchestras and ensembles. He has performed with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has also won the Prix Opus for Best Concert of the Year and Best Soloist of the Year. In 2002, Marandola performed the world premiere of "Le Livre des Claviers" with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
