Enrico Fagone was born on May 12, 1985, in Palermo, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Enrico showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. He later learned to play the violin and the cello. Enrico's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began studying at the Conservatory of Palermo at the age of eight, where he received training in piano, violin, and cello. He quickly became known for his exceptional musical abilities and was soon performing in concerts and competitions throughout Italy. In 2003, Enrico won first prize in the prestigious International Piano Competition in Rome. This was a major turning point in his career, as it brought him international recognition and opened up new opportunities for him. He went on to perform in concerts throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States, and was praised for his virtuosity and musicality. Enrico's repertoire includes works by some of the greatest composers in classical music, including Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart, and Schumann. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Chopin, which he has studied extensively and performed in concerts around the world. In addition to his solo performances, Enrico has also collaborated with other musicians and ensembles. He has performed with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic, and has worked with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Riccardo Muti, and Zubin Mehta. Enrico has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career. In addition to his win at the International Piano Competition in Rome, he has also won first prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw and the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He has been awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and has been named a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government. Despite his success, Enrico remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He continues to practice for hours each day and is always looking for ways to improve his technique and interpretation. He is also passionate about teaching and has given masterclasses at conservatories and universities around the world.
