Mayumi Seiler is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in Tokyo, Japan, on August 22, 1956, Seiler was raised in a family of musicians. Her father, a violinist, and her mother, a pianist, were both passionate about music, and they encouraged Seiler to pursue her interest in the violin from a young age. Seiler began her violin studies at the age of three, and by the time she was six, she had already given her first public performance. She continued her studies in Japan until the age of 14 when she moved to Germany to study with the renowned violinist, Max Rostal. Under Rostal's guidance, Seiler developed her skills and technique, and she quickly gained recognition as a talented young musician. In 1974, Seiler won first prize in the prestigious International Violin Competition in Hanover, Germany, which marked the beginning of her international career.
