In 1970, Pierre made his debut performance at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. He played Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14, also known as the "Moonlight Sonata," to critical acclaim. This performance marked the beginning of Pierre's successful career as a classical music artist. Over the years, Pierre performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He collaborated with many renowned conductors, including Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein, and Claudio Abbado. One of Pierre's most memorable performances was his rendition of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Berlin Philharmonic in 1985.
