J.A. Alvarez Parejo was a renowned classical music artist who made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in Spain in 1965, he showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Parejo's musical journey began when he enrolled in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and composer, Alicia de Larrocha. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent and was awarded several scholarships to study abroad. In 1985, Parejo moved to the United States to study at the Juilliard School in New York City. There, he studied under the tutelage of the legendary pianist, Vladimir Horowitz. Parejo's time at Juilliard was a turning point in his career, as he honed his skills and developed his unique style of playing. Parejo's talent was soon recognized by the music industry, and he began performing at major venues around the world. He made his debut at Carnegie Hall in 1988, where he received a standing ovation for his performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 27, No. 2, also known as the "Moonlight Sonata." Over the years, Parejo continued to perform at major venues around the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Sydney Opera House, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He was known for his exceptional technique and his ability to bring out the emotional depth of the music he played.
