Born on August 22, 1995, in Riga, Latvia, Osokins showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. He was raised in a family of musicians, with his mother being a pianist and his father a cellist, which greatly influenced his musical development. Osokins received his first piano lessons from his mother, and later studied at the Emils Darzins Music School in Riga. He continued his studies at the Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. During his studies, Osokins participated in numerous competitions and festivals, winning several awards and prizes. In 2014, Osokins won the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy, which marked a turning point in his career. He also won the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Tallinn, Estonia, and the Second Prize at the International Piano Competition in San Marino. Osokins has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Moscow Conservatory.
