Hana Minutillo is a classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of opera. Born in 1985 in Prague, Czech Republic, Hana showed an early interest in music and began studying piano at the age of six. Her parents, both musicians themselves, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. At the age of 10, Hana began taking voice lessons and quickly discovered a passion for singing. She continued to study both piano and voice throughout her childhood and teenage years, eventually deciding to focus on voice as her primary instrument. After completing her studies at the Prague Conservatory, Hana was accepted into the prestigious Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she continued to hone her skills as a singer. During her time at the academy, she had the opportunity to perform in a number of operas and concerts, including a production of Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" in which she played the role of Susanna. In 2008, Hana was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she worked with some of the top vocal coaches in the world. While in London, she also had the opportunity to perform in a number of concerts and operas, including a production of Verdi's "La Traviata" in which she played the lead role of Violetta. After completing her studies in London, Hana returned to Prague and began performing regularly with the National Theatre Opera. She quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young singers in the country, and her performances were praised for their emotional depth and technical skill. In 2012, Hana was invited to perform at the Salzburg Festival, one of the most prestigious classical music festivals in the world. She sang the role of Pamina in a production of Mozart's "The Magic Flute," and her performance was widely praised by critics and audiences alike. Since then, Hana has continued to perform regularly in operas and concerts around the world. Some of her most notable performances include a production of Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, and a concert with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in which she sang a selection of arias from Mozart's operas. Throughout her career, Hana has received numerous awards and accolades for her performances. In 2014, she was awarded the prestigious Thalia Award for her contributions to Czech opera, and in 2016 she was named a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government. Despite her success, Hana remains humble and dedicated to her craft. She continues to work tirelessly to improve her singing and to bring joy to audiences around the world through her performances.
