David Juritz is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. He was born on 22nd May 1961 in Cape Town, South Africa. Juritz grew up in a family of musicians, and his father was a violinist in the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra. He started playing the violin at the age of six and showed exceptional talent from an early age. Juritz received his early education at the Diocesan College in Cape Town, where he was a member of the school orchestra. He later went on to study at the Royal College of Music in London, where he was awarded the Tagore Gold Medal for outstanding performance. He also won the prestigious Royal Overseas League Music Competition in 1984, which helped to launch his career as a professional musician. Juritz has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. He has also collaborated with many renowned conductors, such as Sir Neville Marriner, Sir Colin Davis, and Sir Simon Rattle. One of the highlights of Juritz's career was his performance as the soloist in Vivaldi's Four Seasons at the Proms in 1991. This performance was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and was highly acclaimed by both critics and audiences. Juritz's interpretation of the piece was praised for its energy, passion, and technical brilliance. Juritz has also been a member of several chamber music ensembles, including the London Mozart Players and the London Chamber Orchestra.
