Partipilo grew up in a family of musicians, and his father was a saxophonist. He started playing the saxophone at the age of 12 and quickly developed a passion for jazz music. Partipilo studied at the Conservatory of Bari, where he honed his skills as a saxophonist. He also studied with some of the most prominent jazz musicians in Italy, including Antonio Ciacca, Rosario Giuliani, and Pietro Tonolo. Partipilo's talent and dedication to jazz music earned him a scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. During his time at Berklee, Partipilo had the opportunity to study with some of the most renowned jazz musicians in the world, including Joe Lovano, George Garzone, and Jerry Bergonzi. He also had the chance to perform with the Berklee Jazz Orchestra, which allowed him to showcase his skills as a saxophonist and composer.
