Born on October 18, 1997, in France, Kantorow was raised in a family of musicians. His father, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, is a renowned violinist and conductor, while his mother, pianist and teacher, is a professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Kantorow began playing the piano at the age of three and showed exceptional talent from an early age. He was enrolled in the Conservatoire National de Région de Nice at the age of six, where he studied under the tutelage of Pierre Barbizet. At the age of 16, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied with Igor Lazko and Rena Shereshevskaya. In 2014, Kantorow made his debut at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, performing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. The performance was a huge success, and Kantorow was praised for his technical skill and musicality. This performance marked the beginning of Kantorow's career as a professional pianist.
