In 1996, Sammaritano was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Piero Rattalino. During his time at the conservatory, Sammaritano honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. After graduating from the conservatory, Sammaritano began performing professionally, quickly gaining a reputation as a talented and passionate pianist. He performed in numerous concerts and recitals throughout Italy, showcasing his virtuosity and musicality. In 2002, Sammaritano won the prestigious Busoni International Piano Competition, cementing his status as one of the world's leading classical pianists. The competition, which is held every three years in Bolzano, Italy, is one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world and attracts the best young pianists from around the globe. Following his victory at the Busoni Competition, Sammaritano's career took off. He began performing in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. Sammaritano's performances were praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. He was particularly noted for his interpretations of the works of Chopin, Liszt, and Beethoven, which he performed with a rare combination of technical virtuosity and emotional sensitivity. In addition to his performances, Sammaritano was also a respected teacher and mentor.
