Peter Sirotin is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in Moscow, Russia, in 1960, Sirotin showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of six. His parents, both professional musicians, recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Sirotin's family moved to the United States when he was ten years old, and he continued his musical education at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland. He studied under the tutelage of renowned violinist Berl Senofsky and graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1982. After completing his studies, Sirotin began his professional career as a violinist, performing with various orchestras and ensembles. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile musician, capable of playing a wide range of musical styles. In 1987, Sirotin co-founded the Mendelssohn Piano Trio, along with pianist Ya-Ting Chang and cellist Fiona Thompson. The trio quickly gained recognition for their exceptional performances and was awarded the prestigious Naumburg Chamber Music Award in 1990. Sirotin's career continued to flourish, and he became a sought-after soloist and chamber musician. In addition to his performances, Sirotin is also a dedicated music educator.
