Trio Coghlan is a classical music ensemble consisting of three talented musicians: pianist Christopher Coghlan, violinist Rachel Coghlan, and cellist Rebecca Coghlan. The trio was formed in 2010 and has since become one of the most sought-after chamber music groups in the world. Christopher Coghlan was born in London, England in 1985. He began playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. He went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he received numerous awards and accolades for his performances. After completing his studies, Christopher began performing as a soloist and chamber musician, and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most exciting young pianists of his generation. Rachel Coghlan was born in Sydney, Australia in 1987. She began playing the violin at the age of four and showed a remarkable talent for the instrument. She went on to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she received numerous awards and prizes for her performances. After completing her studies, Rachel moved to London to further her career as a professional musician. Rebecca Coghlan was born in New York City in 1989. She began playing the cello at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She went on to study at the Juilliard School in New York, where she received numerous awards and prizes for her performances. After completing her studies, Rebecca moved to London to join her siblings in forming Trio Coghlan. The trio's first major performance was at the Wigmore Hall in London in 2011. The concert was a huge success, and the trio received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
