Babette Mondry was born on May 12, 1985, in Berlin, Germany. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Babette showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Babette's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking piano lessons with renowned pianist and teacher, Maria João Pires, at the age of six. Under Pires' guidance, Babette developed a deep understanding and appreciation for classical music. At the age of 12, Babette made her debut performance at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, playing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major. The performance was a huge success, and Babette received a standing ovation from the audience. This performance marked the beginning of Babette's career as a professional musician. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where she received a degree in piano performance.
