Stéphanie Révidat is a French classical pianist who has gained international recognition for her virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born in Toulouse, France in 1989, Révidat began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She received her first piano lessons from her mother, who was also a pianist, and later studied with renowned teachers such as Jean-François Heisser and Hortense Cartier-Bresson. Révidat's musical education was marked by numerous awards and distinctions. At the age of 12, she won first prize in the national competition "Jeunes Talents" and was invited to perform at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. In 2005, she was awarded the "Prix du Jeune Soliste" by the French Ministry of Culture, which allowed her to perform with the Orchestre National de France under the direction of Kurt Masur. In 2007, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition of Brest, which launched her international career. Since then, Révidat has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and the Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Wigmore Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. Révidat's repertoire is vast and diverse, ranging from Bach to contemporary music. She is particularly renowned for her interpretations of the works of Chopin, Liszt, and Ravel, which she performs with great sensitivity and technical mastery. Her recordings of Chopin's complete Nocturnes and Liszt's Transcendental Etudes have received critical acclaim and have been praised for their musicality and depth. In addition to her career as a soloist, Révidat is also a passionate chamber musician. She has collaborated with many renowned artists, including the cellist Gautier Capuçon, the violinist Renaud Capuçon, and the clarinetist Michel Portal. She is a member of the Trio Karénine, which she founded in 2009 with the violinist Fanny Robilliard and the cellist Louis Rodde. The trio has won numerous awards, including the First Prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 2013. Révidat's musical talent and dedication have been recognized by numerous awards and distinctions. In 2010, she was awarded the "Prix de la Révélation" by the French Association of Music Critics, which recognizes the most promising young artists of the year.
