Thibaut Roussel is a French classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born on May 12, 1985, in Paris, France, Roussel showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He was quickly recognized as a prodigious talent and began studying with renowned piano teachers in France and abroad. Roussel's musical education began at the Conservatoire National de Région de Paris, where he studied with renowned pianist and pedagogue Jacques Rouvier. He later continued his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he received his diploma with honors. During his time at the conservatory, Roussel won numerous awards and prizes, including the First Prize in the International Piano Competition of the City of Paris and the First Prize in the International Piano Competition of the City of Barcelona. In addition to his performing career, Roussel is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's leading music schools, including the Juilliard School, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. He is also a professor of piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München in Germany.
