She was born on August 22, 1984, in Lviv, Ukraine, and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent early on and enrolled her in the Lviv Special Music School for Gifted Children, where she received rigorous training in piano performance and music theory. Lutsyshyn's talent and dedication to music quickly became apparent, and she began winning competitions and awards at a young age. In 1996, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in San Bartolomeo al Mare, Italy, and in 1998, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Caltanissetta, Italy. These early successes paved the way for Lutsyshyn's future career as a concert pianist. In 2002, Lutsyshyn graduated from the Lviv Special Music School and was accepted into the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv, where she studied under the renowned pianist and pedagogue Valery Kozlov.
