Mikhail Gubsky was born on May 5, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned violinist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Gubsky was exposed to classical music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Gubsky's talent was quickly recognized, and he began performing in public at the age of six.
