Mikhail Gubsky was born on May 5, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned violinist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Gubsky was exposed to classical music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Gubsky's talent was quickly recognized, and he began performing in public at the age of six. He went on to study at the Moscow Conservatory, where he was mentored by some of the most prominent violinists of the time. Gubsky's dedication and hard work paid off, and he graduated with honors in 2007. After graduation, Gubsky began performing professionally, quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most talented young violinists in Russia. He performed with some of the country's most prestigious orchestras, including the Moscow Philharmonic and the Russian National Orchestra. In 2010, Gubsky made his international debut, performing at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. The performance was a huge success, and Gubsky was praised for his technical skill and emotional depth. Over the years, Gubsky has continued to perform at some of the world's most renowned concert halls, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with some of the most celebrated conductors of our time, including Valery Gergiev and Daniel Barenboim. Gubsky's repertoire is vast, ranging from classical works by Bach and Mozart to contemporary pieces by living composers. He is known for his ability to bring a fresh perspective to even the most well-known pieces, infusing them with his own unique style and interpretation. In addition to his performing career, Gubsky is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's most prestigious music schools, including the Juilliard School in New York City and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Throughout his career, Gubsky has received numerous awards and accolades. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious Order of Friendship by the Russian government for his contributions to the arts.
