From a young age, Poole showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Poole's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking lessons with renowned violinists and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional skill. At the age of 12, Poole won her first major competition, the Young Musician of the Year Award, which launched her career as a professional musician. Throughout her teenage years, Poole continued to hone her skills and perform in prestigious venues around the world. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and later at the Juilliard School in New York City. During this time, she also won several other awards, including the International Violin Competition in Paris and the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. Poole's career took off in the early 2000s, and she quickly became one of the most sought-after violinists in the world. She performed with some of the most renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic. She also collaborated with other famous musicians, such as pianist Lang Lang and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. One of Poole's most memorable performances was at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she played a solo piece during the opening ceremony. Her performance was watched by millions of people around the world and cemented her status as one of the greatest violinists of her generation. In addition to her performances, Poole was also known for her philanthropic work. She also donated a portion of her earnings to various charities, including those that supported music education and research.
