Georg Leicht was a renowned classical music artist who made significant contributions to the world of music. He was born on January 15, 1950, in Berlin, Germany. From a young age, Leicht showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. He began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly developed a natural talent for the instrument. Leicht's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Berlin Conservatory of Music when he was just ten years old. There, he received formal training in piano performance, music theory, and composition. He excelled in his studies and quickly became one of the top students in his class. After completing his studies at the conservatory, Leicht began performing in various venues throughout Berlin. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented pianist and was soon invited to perform in other cities throughout Germany. In 1972, he made his international debut in Paris, France, where he received critical acclaim for his performance. Over the next few years, Leicht continued to perform in major cities throughout Europe, including London, Vienna, and Rome. In 1978, he released his first album, "Piano Sonatas," which received widespread critical acclaim and helped establish him as one of the top pianists of his generation. In 1985, Leicht was awarded the prestigious International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. Leicht continued to perform and record music throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
