Lucia Pahn is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in Seoul, South Korea, on December 12, 1985, Lucia showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Lucia's family moved to the United States when she was ten years old, and she continued her music education at the Juilliard School in New York City. She studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist Emanuel Ax and graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2007. She then went on to earn a Master of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where she studied with Robert McDonald. Lucia's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and she quickly gained recognition for her exceptional skills. She won numerous awards and competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Senigallia, Italy, the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, and the New York International Piano Competition. In 2009, Lucia made her debut at Carnegie Hall, one of the most prestigious concert venues in the world. She performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the New York Youth Symphony, receiving critical acclaim for her performance. This was a significant milestone in her career, and it marked the beginning of many more successful performances to come. Lucia has since performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. She has also collaborated with many distinguished conductors, such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Christoph Eschenbach, and Michael Tilson Thomas. One of Lucia's most notable performances was her rendition of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 2012.
