Angela Draghicescu is a Romanian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for her virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born on December 22, 1985, in Bucharest, Romania, Angela showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. In 2006, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Sergei Rachmaninoff" in Morcone, Italy, and in 2008, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Barletta, Italy. After completing her studies in Romania, Angela continued her musical education in Europe and the United States. She studied with renowned pianists such as Boris Berman, Pascal Devoyon, and Jerome Lowenthal, and participated in masterclasses with distinguished musicians such as Murray Perahia, András Schiff, and Richard Goode. Angela's career as a concert pianist began to take off in the early 2010s, when she started performing in major concert halls around the world.
