Leigh Harrold is a renowned classical pianist from Australia. He was born on August 22, 1978, in Adelaide, South Australia. From a young age, Harrold showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. He began playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Harrold's early musical education was under the guidance of his mother, who was a piano teacher. He later studied with renowned pianists such as Geoffrey Parsons, Stephen McIntyre, and Timothy Young. Harrold's talent was recognized early on, and he won several awards and scholarships, including the prestigious Australian National Piano Award in 2000. Harrold's career as a professional pianist began in 2001 when he made his debut with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. Since then, he has performed with many of Australia's leading orchestras, including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.
