Ida Kirilova was born on May 15, 1985, in Sofia, Bulgaria. She was born into a family of musicians, and her parents were both professional musicians. Her father was a violinist, and her mother was a pianist. From a young age, Ida showed a great interest in music, and her parents encouraged her to pursue her passion. Ida began her musical education at the age of four, when she started taking piano lessons with her mother. She quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument, and her parents decided to enroll her in the National School of Music in Sofia. There, she studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in Bulgaria, including Prof. Milena Mollova and Prof. Stella Dimitrova. Ida's talent was recognized early on, and she won her first piano competition at the age of six. From then on, she continued to win numerous awards and prizes at national and international competitions. In 1996, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Belgrade, Serbia, and in 1998, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In 2000, Ida was accepted into the prestigious Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where she studied under the guidance of Prof. Mikhail Voskresensky. During her time at the conservatory, she continued to win awards and prizes at international competitions, including first prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy, in 2002. After graduating from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with honors in 2005, Ida began her professional career as a concert pianist. She has since performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Ida's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in classical music, such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. She is particularly known for her interpretations of the works of Sergei Rachmaninoff, and has been praised for her ability to capture the emotional depth and complexity of his music. In addition to her solo performances, Ida has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. She has worked with some of the most renowned conductors in the world, including Valery Gergiev, Daniel Barenboim, and Zubin Mehta. Ida's performances have been widely praised by critics and audiences alike. She has been described as a "virtuoso pianist" with "an extraordinary ability to convey the emotional depth of the music."
