Queens Duo is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2015 by two talented musicians, pianist Christina Yejin Paik and cellist Joanne Lin. The duo has quickly gained recognition for their exceptional performances and unique interpretations of classical music. Christina Yejin Paik was born in South Korea and began playing the piano at the age of four. She later moved to the United States to pursue her musical education and received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The Juilliard School. Joanne Lin, on the other hand, was born in Taiwan and started playing the cello at the age of six. She also attended The Juilliard School, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. The two musicians met while studying at Juilliard and quickly discovered a shared passion for chamber music. They decided to form Queens Duo with the goal of exploring the rich repertoire of classical music for piano and cello. Since its founding, Queens Duo has performed at numerous prestigious venues and festivals around the world.
