Les Coucous Bénévoles is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2005 in Paris, France. The group was formed by a group of young musicians who shared a passion for classical music and a desire to bring their music to a wider audience. The founding members of Les Coucous Bénévoles were violinist Marie-Claire Béguin, cellist Jean-Pierre Dubois, and pianist François Leclerc. The group quickly gained a reputation for their dynamic performances and innovative programming, which often featured lesser-known works by classical composers. Over the years, Les Coucous Bénévoles has expanded to include a number of other talented musicians, including violist Sophie Martin, flutist Anne-Marie Dupont, and clarinetist Pierre-Louis Dubois. Despite the changes in personnel, the group has remained committed to their original mission of bringing classical music to a wider audience. One of the highlights of Les Coucous Bénévoles' career was their performance at the prestigious Festival de Musique de Chambre de Paris in 2008. The group received rave reviews for their performance of works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, and they were invited back to the festival the following year. In addition to their performances in Paris, Les Coucous Bénévoles has also toured extensively throughout Europe and Asia. They have performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Les Coucous Bénévoles has also been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades throughout their career. In 2010, they were awarded the Prix de la Musique Classique by the French Ministry of Culture, in recognition of their contributions to the classical music scene in France. Despite their success, Les Coucous Bénévoles remains committed to their original mission of bringing classical music to a wider audience. They continue to perform in a variety of venues, from concert halls to schools and community centers, and they are always looking for new ways to engage with their audiences and share their love of classical music.
