Leslie Green was born on May 12, 1985, in London, England. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Leslie showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of five. She quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began performing in public at the age of eight. As Leslie grew older, she became increasingly interested in classical music and began studying under some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world. She attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Maria João Pires. During her time at the academy, Leslie won numerous awards and accolades for her performances, including the prestigious Royal Academy of Music Bach Prize. After graduating from the academy, Leslie began performing professionally and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young pianists in the world. She made her debut at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2007, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the London Symphony Orchestra. The performance was a huge success, and Leslie was praised for her technical skill and emotional depth. Over the years, Leslie has performed with some of the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic. She has also collaborated with some of the most celebrated conductors of our time, including Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Riccardo Muti. One of Leslie's most memorable performances came in 2012, when she performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The performance was hailed as a triumph, with critics praising Leslie's "dazzling technique" and "emotional intensity." The concert was recorded and released as a live album, which went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo. In addition to her work as a performer, Leslie is also a dedicated teacher and mentor.
