ArteCombo is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2010 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The group is composed of four musicians: Pablo Saraví on violin, Juan Pablo Navarro on cello, Nicolás Guerschberg on piano, and Santiago Segret on bandoneón. The ensemble is known for its unique blend of classical music and tango, which has earned them critical acclaim and a loyal following. The founding members of ArteCombo met while studying at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires. They shared a passion for classical music and tango, and decided to form a group that would explore the intersection of these two genres. They began rehearsing together and soon developed a repertoire of original arrangements that combined the virtuosity of classical music with the passion and rhythm of tango. ArteCombo made its debut performance in 2010 at the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires. The concert was a success, and the group quickly gained a reputation for its innovative approach to classical music and tango. They began performing regularly at venues throughout Argentina, and soon expanded their reach to other countries in South America. In 2012, ArteCombo released its first album, titled "ArteCombo." The album featured original arrangements of classical pieces by composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin, as well as traditional tango songs. The album was well-received by critics and audiences alike, and helped to establish ArteCombo as a leading ensemble in the classical music and tango scene. Over the years, ArteCombo has performed at some of the most prestigious venues and festivals in the world. In 2014, they were invited to perform at the International Festival of Music and Dance in Granada, Spain, where they received a standing ovation from the audience. They have also performed at the Buenos Aires Tango Festival, the Montevideo Tango Festival, and the Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara de Aguascalientes in Mexico. In addition to their live performances, ArteCombo has also been recognized for their recordings. In 2016, they released their second album, "Tango Fugueado," which featured original arrangements of tango songs and classical pieces. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in the Best Tango Album category, and helped to further cement ArteCombo's reputation as a leading ensemble in the classical music and tango world. ArteCombo's unique blend of classical music and tango has earned them numerous awards and accolades over the years. In 2013, they were awarded the Gardel Prize for Best Tango Album for their debut album. They have also been recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts in Argentina, and have received grants from the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires. Despite their success, ArteCombo remains committed to exploring new ways to blend classical music and tango. They continue to perform regularly, both in Argentina and abroad, and are always working on new arrangements and compositions. Their passion for music and dedication to their craft has made them one of the most exciting and innovative ensembles in the classical music and tango world.More....
