He was born on August 22, 1982, in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a professional trumpet player, and his mother was a music teacher. From a young age, Biddlecombe was exposed to music and developed a passion for it. Biddlecombe attended the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Music Education. He then went on to earn a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Michigan. During his time at Michigan, Biddlecombe studied under renowned conductors Jerry Blackstone and Eugene Rogers. After completing his studies, Biddlecombe began his career as a conductor and educator. He served as the Director of Choral Activities at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2008 to 2014. During his time at UNC, Biddlecombe led the university's choral program to new heights, earning national recognition for his work. In 2014, Biddlecombe was appointed as the Director of Choral Activities at Vanderbilt University, his alma mater. In this role, he oversees the university's choral program and conducts the Vanderbilt Chorale and Symphonic Choir. Under his leadership, the Vanderbilt Chorale has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Biddlecombe is also a sought-after guest conductor and clinician.
