Doug Fullington is a renowned classical music artist who has made significant contributions to the world of dance and music. Fullington began his formal training in dance at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle. He began to research the historical context of the music and dance of the Baroque period, and his work in this area quickly gained recognition. Fullington's research focused on the reconstruction of historical dance forms, and he became an expert in the reconstruction of Baroque dance. Fullington's work as a dance historian led him to collaborate with several prominent dance companies, including the New York City Ballet and the Royal Ballet. He also worked with the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, where he served as the music director. Fullington's work with these companies allowed him to share his knowledge of historical dance forms with a wider audience. In 2006, Fullington was appointed as the music director of the Pacific Northwest Ballet. In this role, he was responsible for selecting the music that accompanied the company's performances.
