Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1979, Soné began playing the piano at the age of three and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Her parents, both music lovers, recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Soné's early musical education was rigorous and demanding. She studied with some of the most respected piano teachers in Japan, including Hiroko Nakamura and Akiko Iguchi. She also attended the Toho Gakuen School of Music, one of the most prestigious music schools in Japan, where she received a comprehensive education in music theory, history, and performance. Despite the challenges of her training, Soné's love for music never wavered. She continued to practice for hours every day, honing her technique and developing her own unique musical voice. Her hard work paid off when she won first prize in the prestigious PTNA Piano Competition in 1995, a major achievement for any young pianist. After completing her studies in Japan, Soné moved to Europe to further her musical education. She enrolled in the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover, Germany, where she studied with the renowned pianist Arie Vardi. Under Vardi's guidance, Soné's playing reached new heights of technical precision and emotional depth. Soné's talent soon caught the attention of the classical music world, and she began to receive invitations to perform at major concert halls and festivals around the world. In 2001, she made her debut at the Berlin Philharmonic, one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.
