Georges Abdoun was a renowned classical music artist who was born on January 15, 1950, in Beirut, Lebanon. He was the youngest of four siblings and grew up in a family that was passionate about music. His father was a music teacher, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Georges showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Georges' parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his mother and later studied under renowned pianists in Lebanon. At the age of 16, Georges won his first piano competition, which marked the beginning of his successful career in music. In 1968, Georges moved to Paris to study at the Conservatoire de Paris. He studied under the tutelage of renowned pianists such as Yvonne Loriod and Pierre Sancan. During his time at the conservatory, Georges won several awards and accolades for his exceptional talent and dedication to music. After completing his studies, Georges began performing in concerts across Europe and the Middle East. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and passionate pianist, and his performances were highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. One of Georges' most notable performances was at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 1975. He performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the Emperor Concerto, with the London Symphony Orchestra. The performance was a huge success, and Georges received a standing ovation from the audience. Georges continued to perform in concerts and recitals throughout his career, and he also became a respected music teacher. He taught at several music schools and conservatories, including the Conservatoire de Paris and the Juilliard School in New York.
