Sarah Ewins is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in London, England, on May 12, 1980, Sarah grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a pianist, and her mother was a violinist. From a young age, Sarah was exposed to classical music and developed a passion for it. Sarah began playing the violin at the age of four and showed exceptional talent. She received her first violin lesson from her mother and quickly progressed. At the age of six, Sarah started attending the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music in London. She continued her studies there until the age of 18. During her time at the Royal Academy of Music, Sarah received numerous awards and accolades. She won the prestigious Hattori Foundation Junior Award in 1992 and the Royal Academy of Music's highest award, the Queen's Commendation for Excellence, in 1998. Sarah also won the Royal Philharmonic Society's Julius Isserlis Scholarship in 1999, which allowed her to study with renowned violinist Maxim Vengerov. After completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Sarah went on to study at the Juilliard School in New York. She received a full scholarship to study with Itzhak Perlman, one of the most celebrated violinists of our time. Sarah graduated from Juilliard with a Master of Music degree in 2003. Sarah's career as a professional musician began while she was still a student at Juilliard. She was invited to perform with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra as a soloist in 2002. This was a significant achievement for Sarah, as the New York Philharmonic is one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world. Since then, Sarah has performed with many other renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonie. Sarah's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. She has a unique ability to connect with her audience and convey the emotions of the music she is playing. Her performances are often described as mesmerizing and unforgettable. In addition to her performances as a soloist, Sarah is also a dedicated chamber musician. She has performed with many of the world's leading chamber ensembles, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet. Sarah is also a founding member of the Elysian Piano Trio, which has received critical acclaim for their performances and recordings. Sarah's recordings have also received critical acclaim. Her recording of the Brahms Violin Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2010.
