He began performing in public at the age of six and quickly gained recognition for his technical proficiency and musicality. He was accepted into the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris at the age of ten, where he studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world. Throughout his teenage years, Nicolas continued to excel in his studies and performances. He won numerous awards and competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Geneva and the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. His performances were praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. After completing his studies at the Conservatoire de Paris, Nicolas began performing professionally around the world. He made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2005, where he received a standing ovation for his performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 23. He went on to perform at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Sydney Opera House. Nicolas's repertoire was vast and varied, ranging from classical works by Bach and Mozart to contemporary pieces by living composers. He was particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Chopin, and his performances of Chopin's piano concertos were considered some of the best in the world. In addition to his solo performances, Nicolas also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras and conductors.
