Rahel Cunz was born on May 12, 1985, in Zurich, Switzerland. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Cunz showed a keen interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Cunz's talent was quickly recognized, and she began performing in public at the age of six. She went on to study at the Zurich University of the Arts, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in violin performance.
