Richard Blatti was born on May 12, 1950, in New York City. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a professional pianist and his mother a violinist. Blatti started playing the piano at the age of four and showed exceptional talent from an early age. Blatti's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He received his formal training at the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers of the time. Blatti's dedication and hard work paid off, and he graduated with top honors. Blatti's career as a concert pianist took off in the 1970s, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented and versatile pianists of his generation.
