Roger Verdi was born on May 12, 1985, in Milan, Italy. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional opera singers. From a young age, Verdi was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Verdi's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with renowned pianist and composer, Carlo Rossi, at the age of six. Verdi quickly excelled in his studies and began performing in public at the age of eight. At the age of ten, Verdi was accepted into the prestigious Milan Conservatory, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist, Maria Rossi. Verdi's talent continued to flourish, and he won several awards and competitions during his time at the conservatory. After graduating from the Milan Conservatory, Verdi continued his studies at the Juilliard School in New York City. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist, Vladimir Horowitz, and continued to win awards and competitions. Verdi's career as a concert pianist began to take off in the early 2000s. He performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Verdi's performances were praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. In 2005, Verdi released his debut album, "Piano Sonatas," which received critical acclaim and was nominated for several awards. In 2012, he suffered a severe hand injury that threatened to end his career. However, Verdi persevered and underwent extensive rehabilitation to regain his ability to play the piano. In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious International Piano Competition, cementing his place as one of the world's greatest pianists.
